We want to offer a huge congratulations to Jason Kenny and Laura Kenny, from Motorgeek and Optimum Motorsport, for their feats at the Tokyo Olympics!
Jason became the most decorated British Olympian of all time at this year’s games. He has overtaken Chris Hoy’s record with a total of 7 Gold medals. Jason also has two Silver medals to his name, taking his Olympic medal total to 9. This year he won Gold in the Keirin and Silver in the Team Sprint.
Laura Kenny added to her incredible Olympic medal haul as well, winning the Gold medal in the Madison with Katie Archibald. She also claimed Silver in the Team Pursuit. Laura is Great Britain’s most successful female Olympic athlete ever, with a total of 5 Golds and 1 Silver.
Back in 2013 Motorgeek sponsored Jason’s car in the Ginetta GT5 Championship. He proved to be pretty nifty even on four wheels during his GT5 appearances!
